Liquid poison pours from heart
Soft flesh crumbles, this is the start. Dry and peeling withered skin Wrinkles showing pain within. Maggots wriggle their fleshy tails. Squirm around the cold sharp nails. When you left me to stand alone I felt the sorrow break my bones When you left to go away There was nothing I could say And you’re gone now so I sit in silence Sit here by myself in silence. Poison drains from gentle core I don’t need this anymore Pierced heart by cold emotion I gave you all my love, devotion. Left to rot, decay and fester Holding out for one last gesture. When you left me to stand alone I felt the sorrow break my bones When you left to go away There was nothing I could say And you’re gone now so I sit in silence Sit here by myself in silence.
